Why is Climbing a Ladder the greatest of Neville Goddard techniques? Simple. It’s Law of Attraction 101. Focused attention on an imaginal act attracts or creates the event and brings it into your experience.

In case you don’t know Neville:

Neville Goddard, (1905-1972) was a popular New Thought author and lecturer who taught his students how to manifest things in their lives by using various techniques that involved the disciplined use of their imaginations. These imagination techniques formed the basis of his teachings which stated that human beings are all imagination and that anything we want in this world can be had. We need only pay the price by thinking from the point of view of the wish already being fulfilled.

You should also know that Neville left us a vast body of work to draw from. I would encourage you to study his philosophy and adopt his way of thinking in order to create rapid and powerful changes in your life. If you already know enough about him, let’s just dive right into the climbing a ladder technique!

Neville Goddard: Climbing a Ladder

Remember, Neville stressed that imagination was the source of our experiences. He taught that in order to manifest our desires, we needed to recognize the almighty power of our habitual thinking. Not only did we need to recognize the power of our thoughts, but we had to change our thoughts in order to manifest our desires. We had to literally imagine ourselves experiencing our wishes as if they were already fulfilled; as if they already happened or were happening in the present moment.

The Climbing a Ladder Technique Proves that this power works.

Climbing a Ladder

This technique has worked for many, many people. It worked for me…and it will work for you too. It will work because it is based on true mind science principles. The events that we visualize/think about in our imagination go on to be developed in the dark rooms of our minds. The imaginative events, once developed in the dark, show up in our daily lives as actual experiences. Does that sound too good to be true? 🙂 Yes it does. Yes, it does. But it is a fact that our imaginations create our experiences.

But don’t worry!

Today is the day that you will prove it for yourself.

Let’s do it!!

Step One:

When you go to bed tonight, try to remain a bit more alert than normal in order to do this exercise. It’s helpful to lie on the opposite side of the bed than what you are used to in order to do this.

Close your eyes and imagine yourself climbing up a ladder. Take this part slowly and imagine with detail. Literally take your time and starting from the standing position on the ground, in your mind’s eye reach out with your left hand and grab the rung. Do the same with your right hand and in your imagination climb this ladder one step at a time. Lift your left foot and climb and then again with the right foot. Slowly climb the ladder all the way to the top. When you reach the top, come back down again.

As you lay in bed with your eyes closed doing this exercise, feel the reality of it all. Make every attempt to clearly envision your imaginary hands and feet ascending and descending the rungs of the ladder. Focus all of your energy on doing this. This is very important. Continue until you fall asleep. Do this for 3 nights in a row.

Step Two:

At the same time you will need to have placed notes all over the place where you can see them; The notes should read “I will not climb a ladder.” Place them on your mirror, in your wallet, in your car, on your phone screensaver, and anywhere and everywhere so that you will be reminded throughout the day to “not climb a ladder.” Every time you see one of your notes, say with conviction that you will not under any circumstance climb a ladder. Affirm it and mean it. As with the bedtime visualization exercise, you will continue this exercise for three days in a row.

Step Three:

You’ve worked in earnest for three days in a row visualizing at night and affirming your notes during the day. Now is time to let it all go. Discontinue the bedtime imagination climbing the ladder exercise and also take down all of your notes. It’s time to stop affirming that you will not climb a ladder. Your work is done! Your imagination has received your instructions and will take it from here. Try to forget about the whole idea of climbing a ladder. Great work!

Conclusion:

What happens next is a mystery and will be different for each individual. Your results will certainly differ from another person’s results. What has happened to many people is that this imaginal exercise of climbing a ladder leads them across of series of seemingly unrelated events to a situation wherein they are required to climb a ladder in real life.

To the people who “miraculously” find themselves climbing a ladder in the days or weeks following this exercise it can be quite shocking. Some say it is creepy or weird. Some say it’s strange, awesome, fantastic, and others say it’s just a coincidence.

But, What happened to you?

If you found yourself climbing a ladder in real life…remember these three things…

  1. Don’t Be Afraid. This power has been working through you your whole life.
  2. Things are going to change for you in the very best way.
  3. You could have easily imagined yourself making a million dollars rather than simply climbing a ladder.

Congratulations on discovering a new power within yourself. It’s a beautiful day for you and for the loved one’s in your experience.

If you did not get the results you were seeking, then do the exercise again and do it in earnest. Your focused attention/imagination creates reality. Period. This will work for you…so do it again until you prove it for yourself beyond any shadow of a doubt. You have to pay the price for success here and the price is concentrating your imagination on a specific goal or ideal.

And remember this; when using your imagination for any exercise where you want to manifest something. Don’t think about what you want to happen in the future….

Think and Feel from the point of view of the wish already fulfilled.
